ReplyDeleteThank you for this article. A man by the name of Ward Connerly (from California) was the man behind the Affirmative Referendum in Michigan. From 2006-2010, he went around to a variety of states to get Affirmative Action bans passed. Interestingly enough, those people who he would employ were young, low-income minorities who didn't understand the petition they were trying to get people to sign.
As an undergrad, I assisted in the push back against such a ban
