Kevin, thanks for posting. Like Lynneah, I had not heard about such grants, but am happy to hear that HBCU's are receiving funds to train students in the STEM fields. It is my hope that these institutions will not change their admissions policies, or who they admit into these programs since renewal of funds is based on performance. Although I do not know a lot about HBCU's I read an article some time ago that talked about the increasing number of White faculty at these institutions. Hopefully, this will not lead to a change in the student body per se.
